Metatron is the Scribe of Heaven, meaning everything that happens is recorded in his Universal Book including things he wasn't present for. He knows everything that happens and what could possibly happen, making him a very knowledgeable archangel. There is no limit to his knowledge, as Metatron could step onto a brand new world and instantly know all there is to know - even things of the past that he shouldn't be able to. This includes any character's world, regardless of it's considered "fictional" by one world's standards. Since everything is literally recorded, he has far too much chaos going on at any given time. There is no proper order to Anything and he sometimes gets a tiny bit mixed up with papers or notes he may have on any one subject. Even though he instantly knows everything, Metatron still enjoys reading a good book or hearing about someone's life straight from them. He may even get lost in his stack of books for days on end and would absolutely lose track of time if it wasn't one of the many things he instantly knows.

He is also the Voice of God, often passing messages to mankind, angels, or even other gods. Unfortunately, it's been a very long time and so Metatron is out of practice at this sort of thing. It makes him a bit awkward and shy when attempting formal speeches or just doing this role at all. Combined with his messy tendencies, he certainly doesn't seem like much of a threat to anyone. He's a big awkward social dork.
